A brief overview of Optima Chemical LLC, from its origins through to the present day, with a specific focus on our capabilities and expertise in manufacturing Grignard reagents, boronic acids, and our ability to handle highly reactive and sensitive materials in general.

Optima Chemical LLC began its life with the production of Phenyl magnesium bromide from which we subsequently manufactured commercial lots of Sodium tetraphenyl borate. The product range has grown over the years to include many industrially important boronic acids, the development and acquisition of other enabling technologies such as organo lithium chemistry, organo phosphorus chemistry and organo silane chemistry.

Our technology now underpins a broad range of products as well a growing portfolio of custom manufactured materials and toll manufactured materials.

Optima Operates from two chemicals sites based in Georgia and West Virginia in the USA.
