The manufacturing processes for antibody drug conjugates (ADC) demand special handling of the drug substance and product due to the extreme hazard of the high potency payload or HPAPI used in the ADC. This presentation will provide containment solutions for handling the payload safely as well as maintaining containment after the conjugation is complete. Single Use Technology (SUT) is used to protect the operators and the environment from the hazard and further reduces the risks of cross contamination. The ADC can be so potent that cleaning limits create risk and so disposal of the SUT mitigates that risk.
